The 6th turn...

I keep saying how close to the end we are and we are! I am now wrapping up the newest batch of last models. The Crunch is on. Now if the weather would cooperate and not rain. I have more bases textured and drying and nearly all of the important stuff close to done.. And once again I am waiting for paint to dry.
All but a few models are packed. The last few may need their own box, as will the bases.

Today was a rough one. My compressor has a split on an air line and will need to get a replacement quickly.
With that issue I changed gears and have all the bases painted and waiting for the black washing.
All the mini's have their bases painted this evening and are done. I have just a little more air brushing to do.
Despite this short bit of bad luck I have run that compressor for 3 years now and this is my first issue I have had with it. I am still on track.

I made a lot of progress today! I managed to repair my compressor with a section of air brush hose line. I still have a small leak but it will be sufficient enough to keep my operating. Very happy about the fix working!

Down time.

I guess I'll start off with........

I received another package today, Necrons! These will be built and painted very quickly. Not a whole huge lot. I have textured the bases and started the assembly today. Should be painting by Monday.
I am also close to done packing the Necron project in battle foam which arrived on Tuesday.
Being so close to the finish line is exciting! I am taking the rest of this week and weekend off to clean and organize my shop space. If I don't I won't be able to paint!!!

Wednesday I got a good hold on project TAU.  I won't get into that for a few weeks.
Their are whispers of Imperial Knight titans in the not so far off future. And I look forward to the opportunity!

Vow season begins again in May and I have some new models incoming for that. I had a lot of fun last year and have the honer to be Subforum champion for the Imperial Guard.(2012)
I have a lot of catch up painting to do this summer and I will try to get caught up! But that said I am not going to kill myself to do it. I will also be parting with some armies this year. ( Look for the pictures very soon!)
The Space wolves will be the first among many.
I will also be selling some of my friends armies for them. It seems we all have more then we use these days.

And lastly I will be able to game this Saturday! I have not had a game yet this year.
The Orks are looking for a nasty skrum with some beakys and we're plannin' to give their soft nether regions a good stompin!
I will take pictures and post a report.

As always thanks for reading! More mayhem to come!
I expect to be back to my normal scheduled posting next week, with pictures!

Necrons. And we have lift off!

This week I have been sealing the miniatures and doing my final checks.
Their are always things that get missed or don't look just right.
That's just how it goes.

These guys are ready to go!

This is the best picture of this C'tan I could get and it's so much better then the pictures I posted earlier!

This big baddy was hard to shoot! He's so big that it's a real challenge to get good pictures.

This was the best I could do to get a picture of the C'tan. He is still a little off in the pictures.
These pictures were taken with a Kodak easy share.

The weather was too windy to try to get pictures of the very small parts.
I am leaving a lot of weapons apart from their units so that my client will be able to pick an choose what he wants to use or magnetize them.

Their are actually more miniatures in some cases then shown. I chose to only get a picture of one in a few cases so that I could keep the pictures uncluttered and not have to fight both the wind and any background, mostly my yard...

Edited here++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I have some late arrivals to post. No wip pictures,Just finished pictures!
So here you are.

Thank you for looking! Comments are welcome!
